Lattitude Global Volunteering is the new name for Gap Activity Projects - a not-for-profit charity founded in 1972, which organises voluntary work overseas in more than 20 countries.  Lattitude also brings hundreds of volunteers from overseas to work in the UK. Each year, thousands of young people make a difference in communities around the world.  Lattitude volunteers work alongside staff in such areas as foreign language assistants, assisting with general activities in schools, caring for the disadvantaged, outdoor education and conservation work.
